What Venice bathrooms are usually like
Housing stock
Villa and patio-home communities from the 1980s onward, plus older island bungalows. Many villas share a party wall, which changes how noisy demolition days are scheduled.
The thing that changes the build
Venice villas often have the bathroom backing onto the party wall with the waste stack inside it. That usually rules out moving the toilet, so the accessible layout has to be designed around a fixed centre line. We work that out on the drawing, not on site.
