Quotes, estimates and bookings

Prices, estimates and availability shown online are indicative until confirmed in writing by our team. Final pricing depends on an assessment of your specific needs. Bookings are confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us.

Cancellations

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any applicable cancellation terms will be explained when your booking is confirmed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of FL.

Contractor licensing and scope

Tidewell Walk-In Baths holds a Florida Certified Building Contractor licence (shown on this demonstration site as FL Certified Building Contractor #XXXXXXX (sample placeholder)). We undertake bathroom remodeling only. We do not perform kitchen, addition, roofing, whole-home or structural work outside a bathroom footprint, and we will decline or refer any enquiry of that kind.

Every project that relocates a drain, replaces a mixing valve, alters framing or adds a circuit is permitted with Sarasota County, Manatee County or the relevant municipality, and inspected. We pull the permit and meet the inspector. A contractor who offers to skip that step is offering you an uninsurable bathroom.

• Deposits are limited to ten percent of the contract value and are refundable in full up to fourteen days before the agreed start date.
• Substrate, framing and rot repair behind unopened walls is carried as a named allowance. Work beyond it stops until you sign off in writing.
• Workmanship is warranted for five years from handover, transferable once with the home.
• Manufacturer warranties on fixtures, glass, tile and hardware pass to you and are honoured by the manufacturer, not by us.

Accessibility standards and what they are not

We build to the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, ICC A117.1, ANSI A137.1 for slip resistance and ASSE 1016 for anti-scald valves. A private residence is not a public accommodation and is not legally bound by the ADA; we use those standards because they encode research about what a human body can do. Where the Florida Building Code or a local authority requires something different, code governs and we will say so on the drawing.

Nothing we provide is medical advice, occupational-therapy assessment, or a mobility evaluation. We are builders. If a situation is medically complex we will tell you to involve an occupational therapist before a layout is finalised, and we will then build to their recommendations exactly.
